Hey everyone!

Whew, it’s been quite some time since I last posted—almost a year, in fact 😅. I’ve missed this space and all of you so much! Sometimes life pulls us in many directions; one moment you’re going south, the next north. Life can certainly take you for a ride. For me, the past year has been a time of growth (growing pains, for sure), reflection, and exploration. I wanted to reconnect, share what I’ve been up to, and give you a glimpse of what’s coming next for Kaitoblogs!

Where Have I Been?

Life got pretty busy and hectic, as it often does, and I needed a break to focus on both personal and professional affairs. As the new year began, I started off quietly, ready to execute everything I had planned for the year. Smooth sailing… or at least that’s what I thought. February brought an unexpected turn when I was laid off from my previous position due to financial restructuring. It was disheartening and world-shattering, but I didn’t let it hold me down. I still had dreams to pursue, so I put on my big pants and started a job search.

Fortunately, in March, I found a fantastic opportunity as an after-school mentor for kids 🤗. Working with the children was such a joy; I learned a lot from them and was reminded that everyone, at heart, is still a child. Sometimes, letting the child in you come out can help you see the world as your oyster, full of pearls to discover!

In April and May, I focused on my health, which had declined due to stress. I encourage everyone to find time for exercise—whether physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual. For me, it was a combination of all these aspects, and tackling them simultaneously helped me manage stress better.

From June to August, I continued working with the mentorship program for a summer camp. It was the best time ever, meeting and working with so many incredible people. Now, as September rolls in, I feel revitalized, recharged, and renewed. This break has allowed me to rethink my goals for the blog and bring more value and creativity to the content I share with you!

What’s Next?

I’m excited to dive back in and bring fresh content to the blog, starting with some of my favorite topics:

  • Character Deep Dives: In-depth analysis of the most complex and fascinating anime personalities.

  • Top 10 Must-Watch Anime: Updated lists with incredible new releases and hidden gems.

  • Anime in Pop Culture: Exploring how anime influences pop culture and celebrities.

  • Theories and Predictions: Thoughts on upcoming anime seasons and storylines.

  • Anime Trends and News: Updates on the latest trends, releases, industry news, and events.

  • Anime and Japanese-Inspired Recipes: Recipes for recreating food and beverages from your favorite series or from Japan.

Introducing Daichi’s Diary

I’m also thrilled to introduce a special addition to the site: Daichi’s Diary. This new segment delves into the personal journey, thoughts, and passions of Daichi, covering a wide range of topics. Expect candid conversations about life, pop culture, anime, and the LGBTQ+ experience, offering insightful advice and storytelling. Each entry feels like a heartfelt conversation, giving listeners a glimpse into Daichi’s world and providing a space where they can connect, learn, and be entertained.

Be sure to check it out—you won’t want to miss Daichi’s unique voice on Osiria!

You can listen to Daichi's Diary on Spotify by clicking the title!

Let’s Reconnect

Thank you for sticking around, and if you're new here—welcome! I’m thrilled to be back and can’t wait to share more anime magic with you. Feel free to drop a comment, let me know what you’ve been up to this year, what you’ve been watching, and what type of content you’d love to see next.

Here’s to new adventures in the world of anime! ✨
